Yes, of course the photos we create together is the goal. But the memories made and the experience you have working with your photographer is just as important.

I understand that photo sessions can sometimes feel intimidating, but I promise you there is no need to worry. Perfection is not the goal here. You can think of me as one of your gal pals who just happens to always have her camera on hand. I’ll always have your back, giving guidance, styling you up, and capturing your unique moments. Your custom lifestyle portrait sessions will be planned just for you. Together we will pull inspiration, find the perfect location, talk wardrobe / styling guidance, and prop styling (if you decide to add-on)

The initial fee includes session planning + WARDROBE GUIDANCE, session time, post-production of images (culling, proofing, editing), online gallery, and your SELECTION OF hi-res digital images TO DOWNLOAD AND KEEP FOREVER. Additional digital images and luxury quality print products are available for purchase when your gallery is delivered, but no further purchase is required beyond the initial session fee.

You may also choose to pre-purchase all digital images at the time of booking for a discounted rate.

You’re probably wondering what steps to take, or you have a few questions before deciding to book…

I’ve listed out a few helpful steps and topics that I frequently get asked questions on. If you still have questions, please feel free to contact me!

01 BOOKING YOUR SESSION.

So you dig the vibes I’m putting out, and you feel like we’re a great match and you want to book. Awesome!

The first thing you’ll need to do is head over to my connect page, fill out the form, and send an inquiry. Please fill it out to the best of your ability. Keep in mind: The more info I have from you, the better!

If it really feels like we’re a great fit, I will send over my booking calendar. You’ll be able to view the available dates for the type of session you’re interested in, and from there you can reserve. *Session will not be confirmed until first payment is made.

02 paying for your session + cancellation policy.

After you’ve selected the date you want, and reserved it. You will be emailed with a quote, contract, and invoice. Once all items are completed and first payment is made within 24 hours, you will be locked in the booking calendar and we can begin planning the fun stuff!

The non-refundable booking deposit is 50% of your total session’s cost and it serves as a “cancellation-fee”. We more so like to call it a rescheduling-fee here because you are able to use the deposit as a credit to a future session. If you are unable to make your session I ask that clients please try to contact me 72 hours in advance so I can plan accordingly. Please keep in mind that if you’re rescheduling your session, it will be a date that is next available. Also current pricing is not guaranteed if rescheduling in future, so there may be additional fees.

03 During the day of your session.

On the day of our session, I will arrive to the location we decided up ahead of time to scope out the area / setup. The only thing you need to worry about is bringing yourselves, your smiles, and whatever items we may have discussed that you could incorporate in your session. You need not worry about knowing how to pose, or model. We are not aiming for models and perfect poses here. I’m here to guide you and make your feel comfortable through it all.

04 delivery of your digital online gallery.

After your session, I'll head on over to my “cloffice” space and get down to business to prepare + edit only the best images from our session together. I will then upload them to your private online gallery for where you can view them and select your images included in package, and/or order prints. Online gallery will be emailed to you, and from there you can directly login to see your session. I do also recommend having some tissue nearby because you may shed a tear or two. Not sad tears, though... Happy tears, always happy tears.

05 prints and other products.

Say goodbye to having your images left on your hard drive, and say hello to seeing them beautifully printed out and displayed on your walls. You can simply order professional luxury / heriloom quality prints, canvases, framed prints, and even cards through your online gallery with just a click of a button. Prints are fulfilled by a professional printing company on the mainland, and delivered to your home address. I highly recommend ordering your prints through your online gallery vs. getting them printed at quick 1-hour local drug store for the best quality prints.

06 waredrobe tips.

I often get asked on this topic. YES YES YES. I’m here for it. It’s one of the perks while working with me. A lot of my clients are great with styling themselves, but they still trust and love to get my input. I’ll be there to guide you along the way. Feel free to text me while you’re shopping, and send photos of your finds. I’ll even send you images of my finds, too! It’s most important that you FEEL good and comfortable in what you’re wearing. I’d never lead you astray, I got your back. Always.

FAQ

How many images do I get after a shoot and how long does it take to get my gallery?

You will receive 50 images in your online gallery for a full session. I select only the best images to edit / stylize to present to you in your online gallery so you are able to make your selections with confidence.

what’s in your camera bag?

Right now, my Nikon D810 DSLR, and if I need a backup body I'll bring my Nikon D700.

My go to lenses are a 50mm 1.4. + 35mm 1.4

Do you bring props to all your sessions?

I don't bring props for lifestyle portraits. If anything I'll bring something minimal like a blanket or a small interactive prop for the kids. If you’d like to elevate your session and style it up, you can add on my prop styling service. I'll try to bring what I have on hand, but If we need to rent, create, or purchase things specifically for the shoot so it will be an additional fee that client is responsible for.

Do you offer anytime mini lifestyle portrait sessions?

not at this time. MY MINI SESSION EVENTS ARE SEASONAL, and typically all done on one day at one location as we will have back to back slots.

do you offer payment plans?

Yes! I am happy to announce that I am currently offering payment plans for lifestyle portrait sessions. Payments are broken up evenly, and recur either weekly / bi-weekly / monthly from booking until the day of your session. Your first payment will be in place of your non-refundable retainer fee. So the sooner in advance you book with me, the better so you can space out those payment more if needed. Just keep in mind you will only receive digital download selections after full payment has been made.

How long have you been a photographer?

Photography has been in my life ever since I can remember. I once won a National Gold Key award for one of my photos back in high school (oh hayyy… lol!). But I started it as a small business in July of 2012.

Do you give us all of the RAW files?

When clients decide they want to work with me, I like to think they love me for my work as a whole. I've worked hard perfecting my craft, and that includes my editing style. So for that reason, I do not give out my Raw files. Sorry!

do you offer a referral program, or a discount for your loyal clients?

Right now, I am offering all returning loyal clients who have booked a regular lifestyle session with my before, or have spent over $500 with me before, $100 off any full lifestyle portrait session. *discount cannot be applied to season mini sessions.
